A Happy Hello

Welcome to Baby Sister Books! It's with great pride and purpose that I premiere with a very meaningful book. Rigsy, is an award-winning book about litter. It is a wonderful story with a valuable lifelong lesson about stewardship.

Rigsby was once part of VA DEQ's educational program and was distributed to every elementary school in Virginia.

Now Rigsby is going national.

The new edition is updated and revised with more illustrations to enhance the message about litter and it's harm to animals. The story language is simpler with just enough repetition, and rhyme to reach toddlers but enough interest to captivate school age readers, too.

What is Baby Sister Making?

While my current focus is producting Rigsby, the children's anti-litter picture book, I am drafting other story concepts as time allows. Between 2012-2014, Baby Sister will publish 4 new retail titles. Future plans include expansion into the discount market in 2015 (ya know those nifty little $1 board books for babies and toddlers) with a broad range of teaching concepts to be presented.

BSB stories range from rhyming tales for toddlers to poignant picture books about grief for older readers.

Ordering information:

Currently, Rigsby, my premiere project is only available for pre-order.

Starting in August, Rigsby will be available online at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

 

Submission Guidelines:

In the event others are interested in submitting stories, I should clarify that Baby Sister Books has existing projects planned 2 per year for the next 2 years. After 2014, a submissions pipleline may be opened. Please check back.
